Sales representative, part-time or full-time (m/f/d)

BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH is a leading, independent specialist company specializing in tactile orientation and guidance systems for blind and visually impaired people. It advises, plans and implements barrier-free projects and construction projects nationwide. The portfolio also includes determining the current status (quantity determination), needs and location planning for barrier-free guidance and orientation systems, and identifying compliant implementation options in existing and new properties.


Our headquarters are in Schwarzenberg. From here we sell our manufactured products to all interested parties, including public clients, museums, hotels, hospitals, etc. We provide planning support, advise in accordance with DIN specifications, hold training courses and also install our systems throughout Germany.


To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a sales representative in the internal/field sales department, part-time or full-time (m/f/d):

Your tasks are:

  • Order processing for our customers: processing customer orders, creating offers, checking availability
  • Customer service and communication: Answering customer inquiries by phone and email, providing product information, handling and resolving customer issues
  • Management and maintenance of customer-specific data in the system
  • Administrative support: General office communication or activities, e.g. by telephone, data and document management

• In the field, you can represent our company on site with customers and partners, inspect properties

  • You are responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and presenting our products/services
  • Your friendly and persuasive manner helps you build long-term partnerships.
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies for both the national and international markets.
  • Sales activities of our utility model protected product TAKTILo (EU/NO/CH/GB)

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

  • Completed commercial training or studies

(Knowledge in the construction industry o. project manager, o. construction manager, o. tiler, o. specialist planner)

  • Several years of professional experience in dealing with customers
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills in German, English and possibly Spanish to effectively interact with our diverse customer base
  • Ability to work independently, set goals and achieve them
  • Enjoyment in using IT applications (Zoom, Teams), Confident use of MS Office applications (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
