Data protection

Data protection

The protection of personal data is of great importance to many Internet users and is an important basis for pleasant and satisfactory use of the Internet. Personal data is information that can be assigned to you personally. This includes, for example, your name, address, telephone number and email address.

BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH (hereinafter: “We”) are the operators of the websites

www.barrierefreiheit-gmbh.de is the responsible body for the personal data of users (hereinafter: “you”) of the website within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act (“BDSG”).

We protect your privacy and your private data. We collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with the content of this privacy policy and the applicable German data protection laws (BDSG and TMG).

Please note that our websites contain links to other websites.

BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH assumes no responsibility for compliance with data protection, data protection declarations and content of these other websites. BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH, as a content provider, is only responsible for its own content, which it makes available for use, in accordance with general law. Cross-references ("links") to content made available by other providers must be distinguished from this own content. Through the cross-reference, BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH merely makes "external content" available for use.

BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH is only responsible for these external contents if it has positive knowledge of them (i.e. also of illegal or criminal content) and it is technically possible and reasonable to prevent their use (Section 5 Paragraph 2 TDG). However, "links" are always "live" (dynamic) references.

When the link was first created, BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH checked the external content to determine whether it could give rise to possible civil or criminal liability.

However, according to the Teleservices Act (TDG), the content provider is not obliged to constantly check the content to which he refers in his offer for changes that could give rise to new liability.

Only if he determines or is informed by others that a specific offer to which he has provided a link triggers civil or criminal liability will he remove the reference to this offer, insofar as this is technically possible and reasonable. The technical possibility and reasonableness is not influenced by the fact that even after access from the BARRIEREFREIHEIT GmbH homepage has been blocked, the illegal or criminal offer can still be accessed from other servers.
